Certified Renovation Firm
Common renovation activities like sanding, cutting, and demolition can create hazardous lead dust and chips by disturbing lead-based paint, which can be harmful to adults and children. On certain projects for homes originally built prior to 1978, contractors may be required to be registered with the Environmental Protection Agency as a Certified Renovation Firm for Renovation, Repair and Painting. CCI is a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certified renovation firm meeting EPA's standards to perform renovation activities involving lead-based paint. Contractors must use lead-safe work practices and follow procedures: to contain, minimize, and clean the dust.
